The Brief: The team at Perfectionist Projects were contacted by our client to assist with a high-street signage rollout for a massive 500-branch high-street bank. Due to recent changes in legislation for businesses operating within the financial sector, the job was time sensitive and required in depth knowledge and planning, especially with respect to the logistics of the exercise, making Perfectionist Projects the perfect fit for the job.
The client tasked Perfectionist Projects with replacing 500No plaques between 6pm on a Friday and 6pm on the Sunday of the same weekend. Each plaque that had been designed was specific to each branch and a further challenge was presented by the fact that each branch had varied trading hours during which work was not to be completed. The job required meticulous project management, logistics and distribution and field and administrative support, which was no challenge for the specialists at Perfectionist Projects!
The Solution: With vast experience in high-street signage rollouts and the restrictions imposed due to the nature of the job, the Perfectionist Projects team set about planning the rollout which was to span from Inverness in Scotland right down to Plymouth in the South.
While Perfectionist Projects usually schedules the runs for the installation, in this instance, the client was able to provide the team of forty with a clear brief to ensure the job ran smoothly and on time. Our team of experts agreed a reporting structure that met both the clients’ needs and that of the end user.
All of the products had to be distributed to each of the Perfectionist Projects’ installers before they were given a full briefing by our Field Support Manager, who also offered specialist guidance that would offer solutions for every potential situation in order to ensure client expectations could be met.
All of the Perfectionist Projects installers were deployed on the agreed Friday afternoon ready to attend the first branches after they closed at 5pm. As soon as the plaques were changed, the installers took completion pictures and emailed them back to the office to document the job and enable completion reports to then be sent to the client.
Results: In true Perfectionist Projects style, customer service and aftercare were of paramount importance during the installation. The office was staffed throughout the weekend to provide support to the installers, and also provide up-to-the-minute reporting for the client.
By Saturday activity was ramping up as many branches had closed for the week and the project was well underway. The team were soon getting very positive feedback from the client on the efficiency of delivery, frequency of reporting and quality of photographs available.
The high-street signage rollout project was completed on time with no issues at any of the branches which both the client and the installers agreed was a great result all round!
